I'm a thru and thru Tito Trinidad Fan, I started watching him fight way back when I was in the military and I still don't like this fight for him. However I still don't believe this fight is a drop in the bucket for Jones (another fighter that I have watched way back when he was in the olympics). Both of my favorite fighters getting on in the ring to handle some business. I think Tito has a chance if he's still got some pop in them gloves and plus Jones is coming down in weight and we all know what dropping weight does to Jones. I believe its the only reason he lost to both Johnson and Tarver. Tito def. should have had a couple of tune ups before jumping right in there with Jones but is it possible that he may be the fresher fighter in this one. Don't know for sure but its gonna be one hell of a fight either way. Anyone not wanting to see this fight is out of their mind. Its got two former great champions (in my opinion still great) going mano a mano to settle who actually is the best of their generation. These guys could be 90 using walkers and I'd still pay to see them strap it on in the ring.

I agree that this fight is a gigantic mismatch. But Tito has that punchers chance, i hate to say it but its true. Jones chin isnt as ****ty as the general public think it is, but he aint no Mosley or Toney.

jones is the fresher hes been in the ring twice in the last yr.... AND he JUST fought at 174 5 months ago... thats a big difference going from 4 pounds to 24.... when he fought ruiz he was 198... then he fought tarver at 174 6 months later... considering he has 2% body fat.... major difference

Anyways, yeah. Jones Jr. and Tito are so ****in' washed up, they just need to do a fight to finish their careers. It's like how Butterbean called out and is STILL calling out Mike Tyson for a match. They'd both get more money by fighting and hyping up an undefeated unknown and giving him the chance for greatness.

Whats Jones weigh now? Never really checked his walk around weight. If Jones walks around at 175-174 then Titos in trouble all Jones has got to do is take a **** and probably an hr in the sauna and thats it. When I say fresher what I mean is that Jones has been in there working and taking shots. Punishing his body and putting some wear and tear on the (pardon the pun) equipment. Tito's been relaxing and has given his body time to heal from the punishment he took in the ring. I'll agree tito's going to have ring rust, and is going to have a very tough time with jones if he wins at all. However I just can't in my heart say that he's just gonna lose hands down. I'm hoping there will be some spark of the old Trinidad left. I want this fight to be competitive and be damned with who wins as long as they put on a good showing.

Trinidad is taylor made for for Hopkins. Hopkins would destroy him within 3 rounds.

Can't say Hopkins will destroy Tito in 3 but I sure as hell don't want Tito fighting Hopkins ever again. He sure as hell wrote the book on how to beat Tito and I don't see Papa Trinidad coming up with a game plan to beat the executioner.
