williams would present a problem due to his physique but I get the feeling Mayweather would figure out a way to beat him, I think Cotto has the best chance, and I base this off his last 4 fights; Mosley, Judah, Quintana, Maliganni.

I would say Zab Judah but he's so mentally weak that he's gonna break down in late rounds and allow Mayweather to take over and stop him.
      Shane Mosley - Too old
      Cotto - See Hatton
Paul Williams would give Mayweather a tough fight, but I'm sure he could beat Williams.

williams is good but I think mayweather could handle him especially after watching the hatton fight. to fight a tall fighter you gotta fight on hte inside and mayweather out did hatton on the inside and thats hatton's speciality. He will out class williams for sure.

cotto, williams is somewhat understandable but margarito? no way margarito has a chance against mayweather. marg has lost to some bums over his career, mayweather is no bum.

Cotto might actually beat a stylist like Mayweather, because he'd ignore his punches and crowd him, pummel him, and get his work done. When PBF fights a presure fighter there is always a point in the fight where he would have to trade shot for shot, and true boxing fans know that he could not trade with Cotto. He was able to do this with the much smaller Hatton and take him out in 10, but Cotto is much bigger, hits harder and I feel could take PBF's best shots. Cotto is a smarter-than-average pressure fighter, with power in both hands, and can wear an opponent down with crippling bodyshots. Against guys who can't hurt him, he'll walk right in and **** away with good results. Cotto's left jab is rapidly becoming a major part of his arsenal also (see Mosley Fight) The power jab he *******ned into Mosley's face will serve him well.

You should made it so we could pick multiple options. With that said I think P. Williams and Zab both have the best shot on that list. Zab's speed matched up with Floyd's as we saw in the first fight. Unfortunately for Zab, it was never a question of talent in that fight. Say he fights the way he did the first few rounds, I think he could win a decision. I think Floyd would have trouble with P. Williams' length and being that he's southpaw.
