Alvarez can take a beating. Clottey just has too much for Alvarez. If I was his corner I'd tell Alvarez to put up or pull the plug.

I'd like to see more jabs from Clottey, it'd open more stuff up for him.

Either Alvarez is one tough son of a ***** or Clottey's power is not what we thought it was.

Alvarez looks like **** and Clottey does not have much power.

Who has Clottey knocked out to carry this rep of having serious punching power? He's a compact, sound puncher, but the guy hasn't knocked out anyone worth a ****.

May I reiterate....Alvarez looks terrible. He looks like he's in slow motion.

If Clottey really wants to make some noise, he better go out there and score a knockout. This complacent, win the rounds mindset isn't going to achieve him any fans.

If Clottey puts together a concerted effort, he's going to knock him out.

Nonetheless, I have it a shutout through 10.

in all fairness .. what did you think of Clottey's power?
again Clottey isn't feather fisted .. but he's no kayo artist.

he's gradually beating this guy down, Alverez

its not like he's constantly whooping this dude

Clottey wears his opponents down, hes not a one punch KO guy, it takes time to score TKO's for him.

Clottey does have pop on his sharp punches but it was really hard to judge his power because his best 2 opponents have granite and titanium beards (Baldomir and Margarito).

...and that's fine, but Clottey isn't much of a grinder either, as he doesn't throw enough to do enough damage.

Good boxer, not a big hitter however.
