I always get excited and nervous when I watch any big fight but the one fight that really got me was Roy being KO'd by Tarver, I shed a tear when I saw that, real talk.Comment

watching gatti get beat down by mayweather. i'm a big gatti fan, but was even more so when that fight went off. i think it was jim lampley who said "this is humiliating." it's still hard for me to watch this fight.
paulie beating n'dou. i was there with a buddy of mine. malignaggi closed the show beautifully that late 12th round combination. everyone there was so into it.
tyson losing to lewis, mcbride, and williams. again, like gatti, i'll always be a big fan, and realistically i expected him to lose to lewis, but i wanted him to win really bad. when he lost to the other two mediocre fighters, i was so disappointed.
when willie pep died. being from connecticut, i was pissed that his death didn't get more coverage. he's probably the best athlete to ever come out of our small state.
when i found out chico died i was really upset. way too young.Comment

The Jones vs. Johnson fight was upsetting, being a Roy fan. It was also a little scary because he didn't move for like 10 minutes. So that was a sad moment for me as a boxing fan. It was great to see Roy comeback from the devastating knockouts to win fights again.
Both Tyson loses at the end of his career to Danny Williams and McBride were also sad moments I have witnessed.
I loved when Oscar Koed Vargas, that was the fight that really got me into the sport.Comment

seeing the tyson vs douglas fight when everyone thought tyson was bulletproof. My dad and uncle and cousins were all watching and you could have heard a pin drop when Douglas put it on him for the TKO. A very sad day!Comment

you can't believe taylor got dropped, or the ref stopped it with 2 seconds left? or the fact that taylor was brutilly beat down and was never the same after that fight. people seem to say he was robbed, but all you have to do is look at the fighters afterwords, chavez looked normal, taylor looked like a mack truck hit him, and was pissing blood and had brain swelling. that tip tap fighting with little power to gain points is part of the sport, but boxing is still fighting points or no points, so if someone is beat that bad it don't matter if there is 10 seconds left in the fight, it should be stopped if someone is hurt. look at taylor now, he's all ****ed up.Meldrick Taylor getting stopped with 2 seconds remaining. I still can't watch that fight again to this day, I'll never be at ease with what happened to Meldrick.
And Corrales coming back against Castillo nearly choked me up. To be taking the beating he was, and still getting up, even when it looked like you were going to die. Only to pull off the most dramatic comeback in history, it's powerful stuff man. Deeply powerful. It speaks to the human element of passion and the will to win.Comment

1. JCC vs Meldrick Taylor 1. If you have to ask, then I don't know what to tell you. There have been so man. I mean, boxing is the drama of life. Failure, success, the inevitable downfall, drastic shifts of tide. Does it get any realer than that?
1. Pacquiao knocking out Barrera: This was a moment that made me a fan for life. I knew Barrera was good and all, but the only thing I knew about Pacquiao was we came from the same country. My Pops was big on him. When Pacquiao went out there and beat Barrera down, I was so amazed at how assertive and confident this kid was. This was special to me.
2. Paulie Malignaggi winning the title: When Paulie fought the fight of his life, bruised and swollen, it was more emotional for me than I thought. I've been cool with Paulie for a while and have interviewed him and hung out with the guy. What I noticed about him from chilling with him is that he is really the hungriest fighter on the planet. He wants to win more than anyone, and more than anyone else he wanted to be world champion.
To see him cry with joy and hug his father after the fight, I was so happy for him because he deserved it. He worked for everything he got and no one can take away that moment.
3. Nonito Donaire knocking out Darchinyan: Donaire was an underdog who no one thought had a chance. And one shot and boom, out go the lights. Donaire not only ko'ed him, but he did it with a "NOW WHAT MOTHERBLEEP!" swagger. He made me smile with that shot.
4. Diego Corrales coming back from 2 KDs against Castillo: The strength and fortitude of the prizefighter's heart once again on display with impossible dividends. Corrales wowed the planet with this one. Castillo was so dejected, looked like he would cry. To him, this was supposed to be his victory and it was stolen from him.
5. Tito knocking out Vargas: Vargas, full of desire, hanging on for life against an ax murderer. Tito was on fire in that twelfth and Vargas did all he could to make it to the final bell. Not enough, apparently.
2. Corrales vs. Castillo 1. Nuff said.
3. Mayweather vs. Gatti. To see so many many of my dumbass friends to be so shocked after that ass whooping, after I TOLD them as soon as the fight was announced what was going to happen to Gatti, I was almost crying with laughter. I need new friends...
4. Douglas vs. Tyson. Utter shock. I thought I was in the twilight zone when that **** happened.Comment
