More so from an australian stand point, then for the rest of the world, but hey you might be interested in it.
His name is Willie Kickett and only turned pro this year. His record currently stands at 8-0 4kos, but its not the record that impresses me its his willingness to step up. Alot of Australias "prospects" beat thai and philo cab drivers up for a living and its just getting tiresome. Sure kickett started off padded aswell, but in his last fight (only his 8th pro fight) he took a huge step up to fight former 2 time world champion contender tommy browne. Tommy enjoyed almost 20cm in reach in the fight and put up a great showing, but the natural ability of kickett was to much.
Apparently kickett is headed to the states to fight on an undercard early next year, and then he wants to come back to australia and fight former world champion and world ranked gary st clair. He currently has some top sparring partners, such as chris john etc.. Your thoughts?
