I didnt see it, must have been a while ago. With not that many big fights left this year (if any) I felt the time was right to make this thread. Looks like Floyds gunna win this one too.

kelly beat an undefeated miranda and knocked out the undefeated middleweight champion.. and knocked out Jose Luis Zertuche... he knocked out 3 guys in one year from contender to champion.. u cant knock that.. u really cant

I wouldn't mind Pavlik or MM winning, they both deserve it because they both have had great years. Hell plenty of fighters have had great years this year.

I say Cotto because I bet against him when he fought Judah and Mosley and he definitely proved himself.

I think the fact added another Weight title by beating Oscar (Light Middleweight) is better than a KO on Miranda and a KO over Hatton who has never lost in 43 fights is better than a KO over Taylor who has had a lot of gift decisions.

Yeah seriously. I'd edge Pavlik but Mayweather's year has been tremendous. Cotto had a solid one as well. Calzaghe's can't be counted because of Manfredo IMO and the controversy about the stoppage.

But other guys have had good years as well, I'd hate to be the guy who makes the actual vote.
