    The Oscar Floyd fight wasn't even on PPV here. It was on Sky Sports 1.

          These guys got paid!!!

          This event had all the right elements, race, countrys, styles, personality contrast... What a year for Mayweather he played the game perfectly, hats off to him!! Ricky was also paid well for being KTFO.....

            U.S.A = 850,000
            EUROPE = 1.4 Million
            China = Estimated 50 million people wanted to see this fight....

            CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, the event's copromoter, some 50 million Chinese are also expected to be watching. Schaefer couldn't venture a guess as to whether China's fascination was with Mayweather or Hatton.

            "It looks like the rest of the world is catching on to the great sport of boxing," said Schaefer, noting that Chinese TV put but a pittance in the fight's overall till. "But if you are going to be seen by 50 million Chinese, it can't hurt, right? I'll have to ask for more money next time."

            The PPV might have did close to 3 Million buys when the China Numbers come in.....

            Well.... That's it... Aint no more talking to Floyd Nomore....
            he just did back 2 back
            2 million pay per view sells ..

            You thought he was ****y Before....WELL NOW .... He is going to be on Some ******* ****...

            If Cotto wants to floyd now, bob arum is going to have to guaranteed floyd at least 22 million Dollars or no fight..... Because this fight was a 55/45 split for floyd... and with these numbers coming in....

            The fight was lucrative for both. Mayweather was guaranteed $11 million plus a slice of any pay-per-view profits, while Hatton had a $6 million guarantee.

                    I think i read of this post that sombody said that Hatton was making more than Mayweather on this fight...!

                    LIES......Pure Mayweather Hate....

                    The fight was lucrative for both. Mayweather was guaranteed $11 million plus a slice of any pay-per-view profits, while Hatton had a $6 million guarantee.

                    55/45 Spilt......

                    Mayweather with PPV is looking to make around 50 Million off this fight alone
                    Since he is getting 55% off the the money...

                    He made 35 million with Oscar.... when he was taking the 45% cut and Oscar took the 55% cut...

                    Mayweather reached sport success with this new win, but the financial one is also secured for, according to promoter of the fight Oscar De La Hoya, TV earnings may rise to $ 1.5 million, box-office record was $ 12 million.

                    Mayweather, who earned $ 11 million, will also earn a percentage of the TV earnings to reach $ 200 million. Hatton also made a little fortune for he earned $ 6 million.

                    http://batanga.sportsya.com/english/...&id_estruc=283

                    and i dont think hatton is getting any PPV Money because this was his first PPV, and Golden Boy assume all the risk of Promoting his first PPV and the Promoters usally take the PPV money anyways.....

                    But Hatton might make close to 12 million at the end of the day...and that is good because he was guaranteed $6 million and he is going to walk away with double...that money...

                    But Mayweather on the other Hand will get a Promoters Cut
                    (Mayweather Promotions)
                    Since he was the Experience Name on the PPV He will get the PPV cut...
                    (PPV)

                    Mayweather now i think will make probably 50 million for this fight...
