i watched it with freinds too, drinking and carry on. i thought Dela won, as I wanted him to. i was disgusted as well. i watched the replay like I already said twice before and turned the volume down, even watched it alone and felt Shane won UD. Alot of Oscar's punches were not landing as flush as ShANES obvisouly press row and the judges who are at ring side could see/HEAR this as well...so they think Shane won. No conspiracy here.
that's right, press row predominantly scored it for mosley. and hbo's lederman had it 7-5 dlh. mostly everyone there agreed it was a close fight, with no robbery.

    * In a poll of 28 sportswriters at ringside, 16 scored it for Mosley, eight for De La Hoya and four had it as a draw.

    * The Associated Press had Mosley winning 116-113.

shane lost this fight, i saw it twice, shane did nothing in my opinion that told me that he won, i mean, he was outlanded, outgunned and de la hoya had the ring generalship and everything else to go with it. the desicion was a heap of bull****.

are we talking about DLH getting robbed in a fight again??? i had mosley winning the fight. although DLH did better in the second fight than the first, he still didnt win. its just like giving a fighter round 3 b/c he did a lil better than he did in rounds 1 and 2. just b/c he had a better showing doesnt mean he won. we have some DLH fans(whose always gonna say DLH won every fight), but everybody who matters say Mosley won! the 3 judges and the ringside writers said mosley took it. you cant go by lampley, letterman and merchant b/c they are with HBO and they have a stake in DLH's career(somewhat). so whenever he thru flurries and didnt land(like in most of his fights) they would yell and scream just as loud as the fans to say "DLH landed a big left hook to Mosley's noggin" only to look at the replay and see that he wasnt even close to landing. if you look at most of DLH's fights(especially against those who he couldnt outbox) he thru punches in flurries to try to impress the judges not to inflict punshiment. his best fights were against people who would stand in and trade with him. when he had to actually box his skills were very sub-par

i think its because at first judges felt a little pressured to give oscar rounds, as he was the sports young star...but after the quartey-whitaker fights(which i think he won anyway....but maybe not by the points the judges had it...), every judge that scored a de la hoya fight was scared to give him close rounds or rounds that he didnt dominate completly.....
