Roy Jones at his peak has to rate among the best ever. However a win over a bloated, inactive, and washed up Trinidad doesn't move him up one bit, IMO. A loss may be another story though.

RJJ Should have targeted a rematch with Woods or Zsolt Erdei

to put himself right back in the picture as a possible fight with Calzaghe or Dawson ,Hopkins

I think it does a little because Tito is still a big name and a future hall of famer. But not alot, obviously. They are both past it, its not like a prime Roy is trying to pick on an old Tito.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Just in general he's one of the best there's ever been but this win would do nothing for him. Only big wins over Fighters like Calzaghe and maybe Pavlik would take him higher now.

i am a Roy fan & i like to think he would have whiped the floor with some of the older fighters who couldnt have lived with his style & speed however i cant make that assumption because he never fought the best competition it is much easier to look great against people like Richard Hall & Tony Thornton
& just assume he would do that to almost any fighter i dont by that at all

just because he beat Toney & Hopkins doesnt mean he was allowed to put his feet up & relax ,i can only really take into consideration the fighters u are fighting & who u have beaten that is my own personal criteria

quality of opositition is more important to me than being a mutlitple weight champion,if u are an Elite fighter u can step up & whip people like 40+ McCallum ,Ruiz anyway ,Toney beat Ruiz aswell

its much harder to rack up wins against fellow Elite fighters
