    Fighter Of the Year?

Miguel Cotto: Participated in a "fight of the year candidate," and won two hard fought battles over bonafide superstars and former undisputed champions. Cotto is a leading contender for best in his divison, although officially only second best at the moment.

Floyd Mayweather: Headlined in two of the biggest fights of all time. Floyd's standing as the worlds best welterweight is currently being disputed. Miguel Cotto is right on his ass.

Kelly Pavlik: Twice the underdog twice the emphatic victor by knockout. Pavlik now reigns as the Undisputed best Middleweight in the world.

Ricky Hatton. Took on 2 men at once and still came out a bigger name than he went in.

          Floyd Mayweather and the ringpost?

Infact, Ring post fighter of the year. Scored a helluva knockdown.

I guess I'm going with Pavlik. As it stands right now next to nobody thinks he can be beaten by any man at Middleweight. He won two big fights as a solid underdog, and unlike Cotto and Mayweather nobody is dis*****g anything when it comes to Kelly Pavlik. This was his year.

Cotto was supposed to beat Judah and Mosley, and Mayweather made a ****load of money, but didn't dazzle and destroy the way Pavlik did. Kelly participated in two sensational dustups with Miranda and Taylor.

Joe Calzaghe, he fought a tough guy in his weight class and beat him. Mayweather beat the smaller hatton who was missing 6 inches in reach. Joe Calzaghe and Kessler had the same reach and are both highly skilled fighters, Hatton is not skilled and is more of a brawler type fighter and he was fighting in a weight class he sucks at.

I'd have to pick Pavlik, Mayweather 2nd and Cotto 3rd! Pavlik had two outstanding KO victories firstly with that brutal KO over Miranda! I've never seen Miranda get so brutally! This was 'White' Marvin in action definitely! Usually it's Miranda who's dishing out punishment like that not the other way around. Taylor ownage was good also and made Pavlik Undisputed Middleweight King. Two outstanding fights that would have left no fight fan dissapointed. Mayweather will be right up there with convincing stoppage over the Hitman in 10th but DLH fight failed to live up to its billing swaying no. 1 spot to Pavlik for two great KOs compared to Mayweathers one. Cotto definitely deserves a mention for excellent war with Mosley and no doubt fight fans will be calling for a fight between Cotto and Floyd next year.
