Now that I think about it..Berto annually weighs over 170 in every 147 fight..he could easily go to 154 and OWN that division.....unless he ran into Winky Wright.

100% Wit u on that, been saying it for ages now! still hav reservatios about him in a Division as hot as WW but he is a very good fighter who unlike most Welter weght contenders is Geting BETTER!

if he could make the 140 limit he would be a monster, but ive heard he cant make 140 cuz he has a lot of natural upper body mass. like you said, it's tough for him at 147. everyone says that cintron would be a good test for him, but i completely disagree. berto is too wide open, and that is a nightmare scenario against cintron. a loss as devastating as the one cintron could dish out to him would be real detrimental to a young guy like him.

Im saying a fight with Collazo would be a good next step.

Very entertaining to watch in my opinion, although he hasn't been in with elite competition. I think he is coming along nicely with some good match making I could see him doing very well. He has an emphasis on an exciting the crowd pleasing style, his own words, which is a very healthy outlook for a young fighter.
