Both fighters got/get alot of flak for their opposition over the course of their career and for not taking risks, but I have to take Roy as the better overall fighter in his prime. NOT more talented, mind you, but taking entertainment into the equation, and the fact he opened up more than Floyd does.
When Floyd opens up, like he did in the 8th vs. Hatton, he can be just as exciting as Pacquiao, because he does it so fast and so accurately. But he is weary of that counter that could put the lights out. We saw this very cleary vs. DLH, where he was much quicker when he opened up, but he only did it in spurts because he didn't want to get caught with something big.
If Floyd would have opened up more against Hatton, it could very well have looked like the Gatti fight, though not as ridiculous.
