Total disrespect for Floyd across the net!

I have come to the conclusion that there is a total disrespect for Floyd Mayweather on this boxing forum and on other boxing forums across the net. Floyd is in my top 10 favourite boxers, being honest here, these are current. So i rate him, but i support a lot of other boxers aswell more. I just find it hard, that in an era where there are other great boxers Pacquaio Calzaghe and Floyd is still easily number 1, its hard to take that we still disrespect him a lot.

All these threads keep coming up about Cotto going to kill him. But truth be told, from his record and recent fights, Floyd is the one who could kill Cotto. Most likely Floyd will counter punch fight like he did against Oscar and win a wide UD. Cotto might win, but there is no reason why we should think this especially from what Floyd has done as of late. I guess im saying that this guys record looks like this:

    Beat :
    Hernandez
    Coralles
    Castillo by 2
    Gatti
    Sharmba Mitchell
    Zab Judah
    Baldomir
    De La Hoya
    Hatton

And as for all this dodging Cotto talk. Its simply untrue. While Floyd continues to box there will always be upcoming fighters. When he gets past Cotto, there will be a new guy with a world title, and people will say Floyd is dodging fighting him aswell.

It just goes on and on. Im trying not to sound like a Floyd nuthugger hear, because i can tell you im not a major fan of his. But i think he deserves some more respect.

Floyd is the MAN right now. He just did back-to-back PPVs that totaled over 3 million. His name is going to keep coming out of peoples mouths. Success has its price. It does seem like its mostly the haters who cant stop talking about the guy.

Baldomir? Really I mean I wouldn't concider him great by any means, Gatti? Come on now everyone knows Gatti was way overhyped and def. didn't belong in the ring with Mayweather, Hatton? Over hyped and over matched (it showed),Zab Judah was an excellent fight for Mayweather (just wish he would have gone for the KO), Delahoya past his prime, Castillo and Corrales is the Mayweather I'd pay double to see fight. If Mayweather takes 2 years off his career is done. In order to remain the best you have to want to be the best. You don't keep that desire when you wake up in a bed that cost more than average persons car. Mayweather's recent opposition has been decent but not stellar by any stretch of the imagination.

No kidding. Doesn't matter to me though cuz I know Floyd could wipe out this whole division if he wanted to. No way in hell is it near the division was in the 80's. Floyd, Cotto, and Mosley are the only true top level fighters. Mosley is past his prime too. They would all make Margarito look like ****, make Cintron look normal, and silence the giraffe Paul Williams.

Delahoya: 154, Past his Prime he would beat every WW besideS Floyd
Baldomir: Linear Champion (do you know what that means)
Hatton: Ranked 5 on P4P list when they fought (he was fighting floyd he did you expect him to look "GOOD")

                  Come on Man .....
