Really? Then why take the time to respond? Mayweather's heart isn't in it, and he would be a fool to fight Cotto. Thats why he's staying away from a possible show down with Cotto. Mayweather is a household name, you can't honestly tell me that with his star power a fight with Cotto won't sell just off the Mayweather name alone. Between fighting Oscar and Dancing with the stars Floyd could sign a taxi cab fighter and he would still get 500k plus ppv buys. His hearts not in it, and with all the distractions Floyd is at a serious disadvantage. He knows it and thats why he wants the break, if I haven't said it before I'll say it now. If this fight were to happen in 6 months Mayweather would pull of a hard fought UD. However a 2 year layoff Mayweather might aswell stay retired. I give Cotto a few more fights before he moves up to 154 and thats going to be the end of the road for Mayweather. Floyd didn't look great against Hoya at 154 and its just going to be worse for him with a 2 year layoff. Mark my words when they meet in '09 it'll most likely be at 154 for a title. Both financially and career wise Mayweather needs to make this fight now.

I really think that the only fighter available that has a shot to beat mayweather is Miguel Cotto. Hey people dont take away merits to cotto for the win over mosley just because mosley is 36yr old, because he shows great condition and he puts a hell of a fight fighting posible the most fierce puncher in this divition and also in his prime. I think the near the fight take place better for mayweather because the experience is in the Maywether side but if its in 1 or maybe two years cotto would probably has cruch the hole oposition in the divition and would come to the fight in his 29 with a lot of experience and confidence fighting a 33yr old maywether with more than one year of rest.Comment

I will Cotto is great at cutting of the ring but does not move quick enough and is open for counters all night. Not only will Floyd beat Cotto he may stop him from accumulation, had Mosley boxed he could have beat Cotto. Floyd is going to box Cottos ears off and he will catch Cotto more than he has ever been hit before, while Cotto will be hitting alot of air. HA HA HA Actually would be a good fight but Floyd will win.Comment
