i specifically remember wlad landing straight jabs and HUGE right hands... and sam peter looking at him and just shaking his head like... "try again brother"... besides sam peter wants wlad not vitali.. he wants to avenge that loss

wlad wasnt setting down completely on his punches. he wasnt punching through the target as he usually does. manny had him focused soley on the jab and not power. even that left hook that wobbled peter was thrown off one foot. still peter did show a good chin as wlad even throwing at 70% power is still powerful. conditioning was probably the problem in the mccline fight. 250+ is too heavy for peter. I think peter still has a good chin but his punching power is big time overrated

no, first, he wont avenge the lost to Wlad because Wlad is better now and does not get hit as much as he did when they fought the first time. second, Vitali is going to be the mandatory after peter knockes out Maskaev and gets the belt. Vitali is gonna taxt that ass. Mcline exposed his vurlerabilities and Vitali will capitalize on them. It would be Wlad in the first fight only 10 times worse.

I think wlad would stop peter in a rematch but I have serious doubts about vitali. the chances of him going through another training camp,,,let alone a 12 round fight without his legs going on him are slim as hell. plus hes going to be rusty and his timing will be off after such a long layoff,,,thats a given. as much as I liked watching vitali fight,,he really should retire instead of dashing our hopes again
