My 2 cents on May/HAtton...Props to Floyd

Floyd fought a very smart fight against Ricky Hatton. Two things he did that really impressed me one of them didnt suprise me at all because Floyd is a very smart fighter and the other did surprise me a bit.

The first thing was that he took Hattons left hook to the body away from Ricky. He did this by keeping his elbow in tight when they were fighting on the inside..he also would kinda lean over to his right to give Hatton little to no target for that shot and third thing he did was tie up Ricky's right arm, which was totaly fair because of all the clinching that was going on. Most importantly he did these things consistenty through out the fight and took away HATTON's biggest weapon.

The second thing that impressed me was that when it got rough on the inside he never just held on and looked at Joe Cortez like " hey gimmie a hand here" I thought for sure that he and his camp would be doing a LOT of complaining. Instead he just dished it back out. Props to him for that.

See I aint a biased hater, i just want Floyd to fight a legit threat at welter..

Whats up with all this bulls*hit about Floyd fighting a "legit" welterweight? He has fought legit welters and more.
What was Zab Judah? What was Carlos Baldomir? Weren't these two fighters linear 147 champs at one point?
so how are these not "legit" welters?

If PBF went up to 154 and fought the best at Light Middleweight why does anyone think that he would have a problem with any fighter at 147?

Well thats not what you said in your post and what many of you have been saying since he Ko'd Hatton. You said he hasnt FOUGHT a legit welter.
As if all PBF does is pick on the little guys. When throughout his career his opponents have been natually bigger than him including Ricky Hatton.
Why are you saying he needs to defend his title at 147?
He hasn't done enough to prove himself?
He is the pound for pound champion
No one at 147 is even close to his level. So why is everyone saying he NEEDS to fight a 147 pounder right now as if he hasnt done enough?
