I was going to say the same thing. It's about damn time they fight some top contenders and I believe they're ready for the big stage. I was getting tired of seeing them beat up clubfighters on ESPN.

No one knows how good Antonio Mesquita really is. He hasen't fought anyone but looks strong.

They fight together all the time. That's just.. for WHATEVER reason, annoying to me.

Regardless, tests for young fighters is always a good thing. I think they're ready.

Mesquita reminds me a lot of Mayorga. Dude acts, fights, and even looks like him. Obviously, that means he's crude. But he has good size and can crack. He fought on ESPN2 last year. KO'd some scrub, tripped over the ref and twisted his ankle. Haha, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Peterson ends up fighting someone else. This is a dangerous fight. I think that's why the fight with Demtrius Hopkins and Mesquita didn't come off last year.

Huh, this is a big step up. Lamont really doesn't have much power, but he's entertaining. Mesquita will look really good on his resume due to his unbeaten record and his KO ratio (even if most of us have never heard of him and he has a padded record).
