Sadly, both Bob Arum and Don King fit into BOTH categories.

The worst promoter ever is probably arranging some half-ass show with losing fighters in the main event in Davenport, Iowa.

Everyone gotta start somewhere. My favourite ever boxer came from there Michael Nunn.

But seriously, how could you rank the top promoters and the worst. If you make money, then you're good. If you don't, then you're not.

Sorry I should have been more specific in what I meant. Not in terms of money but who makes the best fights, and doesn't just think of lining their own pockets and looks after the fighters they are promoting.

Like someone said Don King could fit into both, but he rips everyone off and is only out for himself. But he has promoted some of the greatest fights.
