Haye would probably fight Danny Williams soon, that's my feeling.

Him or Audley, but I think it's gonna be Danny.

Haye, holding the WBA and WBC cruiser titles, is having difficulties making the 200-pound weight limit and wants an above the weight catch-weight. If they fight takes place above the weight, none of the three titles will be on the line. [details]
It will never happen at any weight

Some people are capable of losing the weight and some people aren't. Enzo's something like 6 foot 4. I can't see how he could boil down to 175. If he could he'd be a monster if he carried even 50% of his power.

a calculated analysis.... enzo would be very dangerous for as long as this fight lasts. if mormeck can drop and hurt haye then im more than confident enzo could so the same, especially with haye weight drained. i'd make haye a favourite though and its a fight i'd love to see

Aye, at CW ... if Mormeck can drop Haye then I'd have to pick Enzo to knock him out. Different story at HW though.

I reckon both fighters agree with me as neither seem remotely interested in fighting at the other's ideal weight.

David Haye is now saying he will fight a heavyweight "highly ranked by one of the sanctioning organizations" - I wonder who it will be? Most of them have fights already scheduled, but Kali Meehan, David Tua and a couple of others are available. Meehan would be a good opponent for Haye, but choosing Tua would be a bad mistake...

Enzo Maccarinelli is perhaps the biggest joke of a champion in recent history. His opponent selection makes Brian Nielsen look audacious. Who in their right minds would turn down a cool million to unify belts in their own home country? There are fighters who would kill to see half of that, and for him to hide behind a title belt and avoiding a big payday is a disgrace.
