Lucien Bute is the Real Deal

Both Calzaghe and Bute have faced Bika.

Both looked like **** against bika too. They do better against boxers who have skills, not wild punchers. Though Calzaghe had his moments in the bika fight making bika look dumb. I remember a part of the fight where bika couldn't land and he kept throwing even after the bell and still couldn't hit joe.

Bute looked anything but **** against Bika, he hurt him bad in the 11th round with a big straight left and cut him, throughout the fight Bika was eating hooks and uppercuts.

Bute dominated him like he was expected too.

I agree, I made a thread about Lucian Bute being a beast after he destroyed Alejandro Berrio. With Calzaghe moving up to 175, Kessler and Bute are the future of 168, they will eventually duke it out for the Undisputed Super Middleweight Championship.

Bute looked more impressive near the later rounds. I thought in the beginning of the fight Bika landed some good flush shots that he shouldn't have been able to land since he is such a wild puncher

Hopefully. That fight might happen in 08 though, seeing that Mogens Palle (Kesslers promoter) wants Kessler to fight Lacy as a tune up for a Lucian Bute showdown

Bute is good but he's more conventional than Calzaghe, more economical with his punches.

Bute said he is not ready for Kessler. But anyway Lucien is a very ordinary fighter in by book. Can't see anything special in him.
