Floyd Mayweather vs Ippo Makunouchi at 130

Ippo would be moving up from 122 to 130, Ippo would likely try to cut off the ring and use his strength, at 130 mayweather was a hard hitter throwing combinations and had the defensive capabilities to go with it, not to mention being very quick. Mamoru Takamura basically said that Ippo wanted the fight and so did mayweather, however Ippo being the draw in Japan, Arum was hard pressed to let him go all the way out there and possibly have to go to war potentially risking losing a close desicion.

Mayweather easily outpointed Ryo Mashiba in Sacramento 4 months after his fight with Jesus Chavez, defending his WBC belt against 2 hard nosed opponents, and thats when the speculation began to occur because like Chavez, Ippo had a strong will, the problem was how well his power would translate at 130 if he moved up. Regardless, who you got?

    Ippo fights at 126 buddy.

Anyway easy night for Floyd. Ippo is good at cutting off the ring, but still is bad against fast tricky boxers like Mayweather. It showed against Gedo.

Mayweather was a beast at 130 too. It'd be similar too the Jesus Chavez fight, but Ippo's chin is just decent. Mayweather outcrafts him and gets a late KO.

Mayweather Ippo still have long way to become a world titlest. He got his ass handed to him during his sparing with Ricardo Lopez.

Ippo is ranked 8th or something by WBC i think and he is lastest chapter he a japanese titlest.

        so cant compare both

Current day? Maybe Penelosa, but Gedo seems more akward.

Also Ippo is currently WBC 12th, OPBF 1 I think, and JBC champion.

i was thinking the same thing because of the fact that penalosa is alot more stationary, i dont know how penalosa was early in his career.

(awaits ferocity to tell me that Ricardo Martinez would KO Mayweather)
