The amazing thing about all this is that it isn't just that they put a boxer on the front page, it's that they put a boxer who is the 130 pound weight division and doesn't even fight in the US on the front page. This has got to say a lot. I wonder how Sports Illustrated is going to respond to all of this. With another "boxing is dead" article?Comment

Although what most of you saying is debateable, Im agreeing with what some are saying, that he needs that notable fight in the U.S to finally be seen as a even a contender.Comment

No doubt. I had my 9 year old nephew watch the Mayweather vs. Hatton fight. He has watched matches with me before, but this was his first, "SUPERFIGHT." Me and my brother in law had to by him a heavybag, gloves, and mitts after the fight was over! It reminded me of the Hagler vs Hearns fight, the first "SUPERFIGHT" I actually saw and remembered.
I love boxing. It brings generations, races, religions together. No matter how much I talk crap to people on here, it's still all good. MMA has it's place. But boxing dying out? Think again Dana White. Suburban white dudes might might have blown your head up. But when it comes down to it, BOXING is still relevant, still draws crowds, and still pulls in HUGE amounts of cash.
Boxing is going NOWHERE. It's here to stay.Comment
