the problem is that hatton was already getting his ass kicked previously, he was taking punishment and not giving it out, thats the thing, in the later rounds, hatton had no defense for mayweathers combos, and at this stage in mayweathers career, if hes landing combos at will and your just acting like a human punching bag, the fight is gonna stop. hatton had to be stopped, he showed no sign of being able to defend himself nor viably score a knockout.
