If avoiding punishment were the stuff of "track stars"

why do you find equipment in every boxing gym that improves head
    movement?

Why do fighters wear ankle weights?

    jump rope?

And simulate ducking punches when doing pad workouts?

lol Everyone boo's, and even regrets purchasing tickets to see a guy run all night. Not only that, if it wasn't for the "action stars" in this sport, no one would even watch it. If the sport was filled with Typical black runners, I don't even think this sport would continue to exist.

This sport is about fighting, it's not "tag you're it."

Mexicans just tend to know that.

            Running in Boxing

Running in boxing does not take on the literal meaning as it is understood by non aficionados. In boxing, when a fighter is blessed with lightening reflexes of hand and foot he often chooses to use them with lethal results.

Many “armchair boxing experts” accused Mayweather of running from Carlos Baldomir/Oscar De La Hoya/Ricky Hatton even at the risk of sounding ******.

Even my girlfriend seethed at Floyd’s nimble escapes and called him a “*****”.Don’t believe it was a dumb thing to say?

Then answer this, if your best friend stopped by looking like Carlos Baldomir/Oscar De La Hoya/Ricky Hatton after Floyd chewed him up and said to you “I tried to fight but the other guy ran”

            what would you think?.

I’ll tell you what you’d think; you’d think to yourself (while giving him that uh huh look) “yeah he ran all over your face”. In other words, speed kills and Floyd Mayweather has plenty of it. Whenever

I watch a fight where a speed oriented fighter employs his natural gifts to victory the fallen opponent (to save face) always resorts to use of the “r” word-“he ran”. Now I won’t even get into the “cultural” undertones of the use of the word “running” pertaining to athletic African American fighters. We all tend to rely on “cultural cliff notes” regarding styles in boxing and for that there is no fault. Yet I will focus on what the strategy of using ones mobility will mean to Floyd Mayweather in the biggest fight of his life.

whatever it is that makes men want to climb into the ring you have to believe they are there to fight the fight that is true to them. whether their style is more akin to hatton than mayweather or duran to benitez. is fighting a smart fight that you know you cant win with brawn cowardly...... i dont know.

You are as dumb as you are ******. Its called boxing not MMA. I see a lot more Roy Jones, Mayweather and Ali sigs here then I see Chavez and Morales. True fans not biased nationalistic insecure fruitcakes like yourself respect the sport. If Jesus Chavez could avoid a right hand, he would. He just cant.

If mexicans are such warriors that are braver than other fighters why did Barrera run from Pacquiao in the rematch? Is he a coward?

                  Stop being a moron.
Ofcourse no fighters want to get hit. But Mexican fighters don't like to develop a defense and alot of them don't care to get hit. See Mayorga will take the hit unpurpose but Mexican's would never chose the option of getting out the way. Whats the diffrence here??? There isn't any
