WBC #8 ranked lightweight Miguel Huerta (26-8-1, 18 KOs) scored a third round TKO against former world title challenger Daniel Alicea (30-7-2, 22 KOs). Huerta, who was in command the entire fight, drove Alicea into the ropes with a hurtful body shot and referee Gino Rodriguez quickly stopped the bout. Time was 2:05.

Huerta has pretty fast hands, lots of power in the left hook it seemed to me. Very exciting fighter.

i'm definitely with you on that. He just seems unmotivated and lackluster at times. I watched him carry Emmanuel Augustus through 10 rounds and it was annoying.
