I have major problems with some of their analysis. They say they don't like Floyd because of his fighting style "I don't like someone who punches and moves" that is a ridiculous statement. Boxing is based on the premise of punching and moving, to dislike a fighter because of that is idiotic. Their opinion of Floyd is obviously biased.

Furthermore, the analysts were "impressed with Floyd's knockout punch" I believe they are referring to the check hook. How does the check hook work? You step to the side and throw a hook, i.e. punch and move. Make your mind up guys.

Any true boxing fan admires Floyd's ability in the ring, I hate the guys persona but he is an unbelievably good boxer. Defense is the most important part of boxing, anyone can throw a punch but not everyone can avoid getting hit, in this instance Floyd has proven to be the best of his generation.

I think this interview reeks of American brawl syndrome, i.e. Americans think boxing should entertain them, they want their fighters to stand in front of each other and just trade punches "I want to see someone stand and fight". Boxing is a sport or even an art if you will, true fans recognise and appreciate defense as much as offense. Therein lies the reason why Floyd has so many "haters" (I despise that word) and someone like Miguel Cotto has so many fans.

People need to just appreciate Floyd for what he is, a truly great boxer. When Floyd beats Cotto, the same people who ranted and raved about Floyd having to take the fight will start a new campaign about how he should have to face Margarito, if he faces Margarito they will then turn towards Paul Williams, then Mosley, then Cintron etc etc etc. So it becomes a never ending cycle of hate against Mayweather.

Floyd beats all of these guys and you know it.
