Spot on! This is what's wrong with boxing today and why the general public has turned it's back on it. PPV Bullcrap and now every single boxer wants a "huge payday" To quote "if it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sence" is the most God awful Cop-out i've ever heard in my life.

Anyway, just want to say that I appreciate your posts, but you dont have to bring up the ducking all the time.
Give it up! It hasnt been a week and you're coming up with this ****. Damn let it play out before you start throwing the word duck around. Is Cotto ducking Williams? (we dont know because time will tell) Do you see what the point is. You're being very impatient or very bias my friend.

Ok, so there is SOME merit to the ducking thing pre-Baldomir. I always thought that the Baldomir over Margarito thing was a non-issue but I can see how fighting kostya tszyu's sloppy seconds Mitchell over Margarito could be construed as ducking, tune-up or not.

in reality though, margarito didint and still hasnt made any noise whatsoever at welterweight to give him some weight/juice to the situation, if you think about it, looking bad against clottey and then losing to paul williams and then scoring a KO over a bum isnt exactly making waves. Margarito to this day hasnt done much to even deserve a fight with miguel cotto, let alone mayweather, thats why the margarito thing only lasted as long as it did, since mayweather fought de la hoya anyway and he went on to lose to williams 3 months later.

what hurt margarito is his inactivity, after he fought ******* gomez, he pracitcally did nothing for a year, that isnt going to help your career or your case at all.

He was the #1 contender then though. Now, obviously he needs to do more to get back in contention, no question.

i already posted the article saying the coward took $4 million to fight a bum mitchell instead of double the money for the mexican bad ass antonio margarito. mayweather wont take a fight where he would be the underdog or even money.

i agree he was the number 1 contender, but fighting him wouldnt prepare him for judah at all, especially if would have become a war, it would have delayed the judah fight even further, because i know you were following boxing then, you and i both know that mayweather/judah fight was highly anticipated and everyone couldnt wait...until january 06 when judah ****ed it all up.

is this a sport for warriors or for businessman?? and we all know its not about money or mayweather would have taken the biggest payday of his life to fight margarito. its about fighting the easiest opponent that you can get away with. this is cowardly and the reason we dont need no businessman in boxing.
