I could see Paulie winning a decision. This guy is as slick as they come. Did you see his last fight? He ****in schooled Ndou. One of the best 12 round performances of the year.

Exactly, Malignaggi is not an inside fighter, so the referee will probably play a bigger part in this fight than the Mayweather fight. But either way I see Hatton winning a decision if they don't get broken up too quickly, because he'll have something to prove to the fans as well as himself.

        Completely different fight.

Malignaggi is a skilled boxer yes but he does not have the strength to keep Hatton off nor the skills overall that Mayweather has.

In the Mayweather fight, Floyd played Hatton at his own game and used 'rough' house tactics to disrupt Hatton's game. His inside work especially his defense was awesome and he cutely held on and pushed his forearm into Hatton throat and face, thus partially stopping Hatton from working.
Add this against his brilliant 'outside' skills and power and what you were left with was a Hatton with no idea's.

Can you honestly see Malignaggi being able to do this?

Remember Malignaggi isn't the biggest Jnr Welter and cannot break an egg with his shots.

Completely different fight and I feel it will be a late stoppage or UD to Hatton.

And not too mention COTTO hits WAY harder than HATTON.

I'd say MILLS gets a decision maybe.,

He may hit soft but he can take a beating like Frazier/Gatti.

I could see him outboxing hatton. I dont think hatton will K.O. him if Coots couldnt even do it after he fractured his face.

Define way harder because that sounds alot to me like guesswork.

Paule is faster than Floyd and actually jabs..Floyd doesnt.

Hatton will get stopped on cuts.

Malignaggi may be a more 'slick' boxer than Hatton but his defensive skills are nowhere near Floyd's. And without an impenitrable defense, Hatton will be all over this kid like a cheap suit. I think Hatton roughs out Pauli so much, that he takes him out of his rythmn and makes him fight his fight...My prediction: Hatton by TKO 8.

If Hatton can get inside on him, which he will, and rough him up to the body, the fight will end by KO or TKO. Just because he has lived with harder punchers in the past doesnt mean he wont get knocked out, case in point Hatton-Mayweather or even Hatton-Castillo.

Just because he can fight on with a broken face doesnt mean he wont get stopped by Hatton, the iconic image of Castillo on one knee for a lot longer than the 10 count is proof enough that Hatton can, and most probably will, stop this guy in his tracks.

A fractured cheekbone (I believe it was, but not too sure) means that if you get hit there it hurts a lot more than usual, but it can be dealt with and defended against. A couple of broken ribs is a different story altogether. It is not possible to do any sport as physically demanding as boxing with broken ribs. For a start he would be in there with probably P4P the best body puncher in the business, and ask anybody who has brokenm their ribs in the past how difficult it is to breath, you feel like your dying just walking up stairs (trust me, I've been there 3 times myself).

Unless Joe Cortez is the ref for this fight too, Hatton wipes this guy out inside 10.

not only is it at a better weight for hatton, but malignaggi has nothing that hatton hasn't faced before. hatton wins UD

Paulie is not in the same league as Mayweather.

Mayweather is sensational and Hatton never really stood a chance against him at welterweight, especially in the US with that **** of a ref.

I think Hatton would stop Paulie. He has something to prove now. He needs a BIG performance in his next encounter, a big KO is coming infront of a Manchester audience I'm thinking.

I'd love to see him fight Witter personally, but Paulie would be an entertaining opponent.
