    Worst Cortez performance?

I have little doubt that Floyd would have won anyway, though I think there's a fair case to be made that the little ginger Manc Chav might have struggled through to a UD loss rather than a KO if Joe hadn't constantly ****ed around.

But which of the three was his worst performance?

He's not ginger and he's certainly not a chav.

The Mason Dixon thing for me too. He also missed a clear KD.

I will pick Castillo/Hatton over the ones you've listed, that was an horrible job by Cortez.

Too much hitting and holding? It can't be as bad as the fouls he let Balboa get away with, surely? I can't believe they released that fight onto disc after Cortez did such a bad job of it.

Was going to pick the Pakalu-Williams bout, but decided that was more Williams fault than Cortez's.

Williams is up against a guy who is barely half his size & can't punch, is hitting him repeatedly, but can't get him in trouble enough to force a clear stoppage???

                Sad.

The Rocky bout was questionable, but, he's the ROCK!
Got to give a guy like that the benefit of the doubt.

The "refereeing" in the Mayweather bout was bloody annoying from the first round, & got worse as it went.

Haven't seen the fight for a couple years but

I vote Kassim Ouma vs. Verno Phillips II. Phillips was on spaghetti legs for what seemed like most of the round, being held up by the ropes as Cortez watched like a spectator

I haven't seen that one, but it sounds a similar situation to the Williams one.

I don't know what gets into the guy sometimes. The best ref IMO right now is Steve Smoger. Little rednecks make good refs for some reason (cf. Mills Lane).
