This interview took place a day before the Hatton fight, so not really new.

I've never seen this anywhere. A good read for me.

Obviously this is a Money fight first and not so much a legacy fight, even if the name Bernard Hopkins will be on his record.

I like honest people, but should he be really saying these things...this isn't something Marciano would say.

"Calzaghe tells BoxingScene that Hopkins is no longer that fighter he once was."

"Calzaghe feels that Hopkins, deep in his heart, knows he can't win the fight."

"He's not the fighter he (once) was. He lost twice to Jermain Taylor"

"He wants his pension fund because he's going to get his ass kicked."

Hahaha, just realized Joe is good at trash talking.

This fight should be in Britland. I like the atmosphere they have and there is no worry about who the ref is because Joe fights honest.

Then again, Vegas is a good vacation spot and I've always wanted Joe to get American exposure. It's a shame Joe is 36 and isn't 26 and coming over here.

When he was coming up, Calzaghe was the biggest trash talker ever - made Naseem Hamed seem humble and a choir boy

Calzaghe at 24-25 was a complete prick, as he was/is at 34-35 (though nowhere near as much). He went 10 years without saying much though, it's weird

Really, that's funny. I would like to see any tape on that. I didn't pay much attention to Cal back then. Not until he was on Showtime did I see him and there wasn't much pre-fight interviews with him.

                People can change.

Wonder how the 24/7 will go.

He said he'd knock Dean Francis clean out, knock ROY JONES clean out, he said he'd beat Benn, Eubank and Collins easily, he said Hamed was a joke and that he punched harder than him because he doesn't just knock guys down but knocks them through the ropes, he said he'd beat Robin Reid with one arm tied his back, etc. He was hideous, and this was at every opportunity.

He criticised Lennox Lewis as well for being 'boring rubbish'.

This was all when Calzaghe was still only British champion.
