You have to keep in mind that both these guys never even had to be boxers, they're both succesful doctors and have plenty of options to do other things and be succesful at them. I don't think money is all that important.

If these two weren't brothers a fight between them would be brutal though. I'd pick prime Vitali easy; better chin, better puncher

yes vitali has the better chin but he is absolutely not the better puncher. wlad is a much better one punch guy. vitali just clubs you to death with an accumalative effect

Yes but what would the result be? I think even though Wladimir is the bigger puncher, a 100% Vitali would take his shots for 12 rounds and either wear him down to stop him, lets not forget Wladimir does'nt have a great chin like his brother and his conditioning is no where as good as Vitali's.

I see two possible outcomes either Wladimir's skills winning him a close decision, or Vitali stopping Wladimir in the 10th, 11th or 12th round.

quitali wouldn't be able to hobble his way to the ring for a prize fight. if he did, he'd probably stub his toe wrong and hurt himself early on.

They had a few sparring sessions with each other. Each one of them ended with some kind of injury for one of them. I don't remember which one was which, but one of them sprained his ankle on the way to the ring and the other broke his hand during the sparring. Ever since then they won't get in the same ring with each other because, as Vitali said, that was too big of a sign. I read it in the interview with Vitali a long time ago.

Im such a big fan of both, I would have mixed emotions about the fight. If it happened I would watch it,but I dont want it to happen.


Though Im 100% sure this fight will never happen.

I dont know. I dont think wlads stamina is worse than vits. the only fight wlad ever really gassed in was with brewster and the purrity fiasco was early in his career when he'd never been past the 6th round. wlad may have cut vitali up and won on stoppage as lewis did or maybe vit would have clubbed wlad into submission. hard to say. I could see either of those scenarios happening or wlad winning a boring decision on his jab and movement
