Which 3 rounds did he win clearly?

The only clear round I had for him was the 5th. Round 2 was close and round 6 was kind of close.

All I can say is that JLC didn't land as much as people think he did. But if JLC did get the U.D I wouldn't be mad cuz it was that close

I think Hatton was Floyd's 3rd most difficult opponent.

          1. Jose Luis Castillo
          2. Oscar De La Hoya
          3. Ricky Hatton

Agreed. He would've got a rematch tho, imo, if he took it the distance.

If this fight was in Manchester, Hatton's all out aggression would've meant a fight-ending clash within the first 4 rounds

Say what you want but Hatton gave Mayweather a very good fight. In the first 5-6 rounds he showed pretty good head movement, was moving side to side and for the most part gave Floyd a difficult target to hit. Also, he along with Castillo in the 1st fight to apply CONTINUOUS pressure on Mayweather throughout the fight. In fact I was extremely impressed with Hattons footwork. Hatton obviously made mistakes at the end of the fight but he was in there with Floyd for the first few rounds and Floyd was the one doing the clinching.

Also, If I recall Floyd had some hand problems in his first Castillo fight which contributed to the fight being so close.

DLH gave Floyd a decent fight but faded BADLY towards the end of the fight and just could not sustain constant pressure on Mayweather. DLH also had many more weapons at his disposal due to his superior size and arsenal of punches. Hatton for the most part is a one dimensional fighter with no advantages over Mayweather and yet gave him a pretty tough fight.

Castillo, Judah, Augustus and DLH all gave Mayweather good fights in my opinion.

Ok I understand that. But whats ur order? Is Ricky Hatton is 2nd 3rd 4th 5th hardest opponent? Where do u rate him on Floyd toughest opponents and if u rate him a certain number pls name fighters. I am not trying to discredit Hatton's great performance but want to know how he is rated

how can u say someone has good head movement, good foot speed, good side to side movement, able to fight with continous pressure. be disadvantaged at every aspect from height, to weight to reach, give the best p4p fighter on the planet a tough fight.
Yet this fighter is one dimensional, how does that work?

how can u rate them, Ricky fought Floyd at his peak when he was brimming with confidence after the biggest win of his career. None of the others did. On top of this all of the other fighters had at least one physical advantage over Floyd, ricky had none.
