those 2 are coming off of loses to the number 1 p4p fighter in the world. pacquiao is considered the second p4p fighter in the world.

it seems much more logical to me that the top 2 in the world go at it.

      anyone agree?
      i doo

but hatton vs pac would be huge

I dunno, if Pac could fill out decent at 140 and his chin could hold up, this could be a pretty good scrap. I would pay money to see this before I would to see Hatton chase around Malignaggi or Witter. Atleast with Pac-Hatton u know ur gonna have a fight.

Hatton IS NOT a WW. He proved that TWICE now, what more do you want from him?

Floyd is the one claiming to be the greatest of all time.

Floyd is the #1 p4p in the world.

Floyd is the one saying he will unify the talented WW division.

Floyd is the one avoiding the talented WW division like a plague, digging up De La Fishnet and dragging Ricky up from JWW.

The road to Pacquiao-Hatton must be made to go through the living rooms of the two Diazes vs. Pacquiao.

For Paquiao, the idea of fighting Hatton cannot be a deathwish. If there's any big name whose style is ideal for Pacquiao's style, it's Ricky's. And Hatton is no taller than Pacquiao (maybe even half an inch shorter), and has a shorter reach.

Those who think Pacquiao has no chance and would be killed by Hatton could be in for a surprise. In the first Morales fight, Erik did not manage to bully Pacquiao and Erik is much taller and, when he went up the ring, bigger. Pacquiao even staggered Morales in the 12th when the latter switched to a southpaw stance.

The scores at the end were a uniform 115-113, which means that had Pacquiao won one more round, it would have been called even. Two more rounds and the decision would have gone the other way. That says much about how close the fight was.

Pacquiao is pretty much used to facing Welterweights and Jr. Welters in sparring, many of whom are world rated and taller than Hatton-- and a number of whom he KD'd.

I am not saying that Pacquiao will surely win against Hatton. I reserve any prediction on that matchup after Pacquiao shall have faced the two Diazes (or even just one of them). All I'm saying is that, I am not convinced that Pacquiao will be cannon-fodder for Hatton.

Pacquiao has no trouble with people who crowd him; he only had problems with slick counter-punchers, e.g., Juan Manuel Marquez.
