First, I probably will be able to get a live stream on the internet and watch it. And secondly, you little puke; I’m giving my analysis of and my opinion on this fight. That’s the point of this forum, ****cheese…

in skelton's career from what i have seen he has been involved in only 1 fight worth watching that was his first fight against williams.

I find BostonGuy never adds anything positive or constructive to these heavyweight discussions.

Here's my take on this fight:

Skelton has never been decisively defeated as a pro boxer (many thought he deserved to win his "loss" to Williams) and he's a former world kickboxing champion. He's a tough cookie who knows how to win. Chagaev could have chosen an easier defense, someone like JD Chapman, Kevin Johnson, or the current version of Hasim Rahman.

Chagaev is one of the world's best heavyweights, however, and so he will very likely win. The fight will be similar to Chagaev vs. Ruiz. Skelton likes to lean on and hold his opponents to tire them out, like Ruiz. He will be able to do this to Ruslan, because he is shorter and fights on the inside. Much of the fight will involve Chagaev trying to break free. However, Chagaev will tag Skelton a lot as he moves in, and effectively counter everything he throws. Much depends on the referee - if he lets Skelton get away with a lot of holding and a some headbutts, then Chagaev is in for a difficult fight and may even lose. If the referee is firm, Chagaev will win more easily because he clearly has better boxing skills than Skelton.
Lol, if that's not stating the obvious, then I don't know what is. It's just that Boston writes it in 2 sentences, whereas it takes you 2 paragraphs.

            P.S. I bet you've never seen any of Skelton's or Chagaev's fights.

skelton has been in with two poor versions of danny williams and thats his best opponent.

i really doubt he will find a way to win against chagaev. i reckon he'll lose a very wide UD helped by points deductions or maybe even get DQ'd if he trys it on like in the first Williams fight.

btw tunney5, have you never heard of "The Office"?
