No one is really going to give Floyd credit if he beats Juan considering he was coming down from 147.

There are some damn good fighters that Floyd could fight other than Cotto and Williams, but in reality, he wouldn't get credit for them (Pacquiao, Diaz, etc.)
I think he would get credit for them if he fought them at their weight. Problem is I don't think Floyd could still get to 130 to fight Pac and Diaz isn't a big enough name yet (which baffles me.)

I see what you're saying though, when I heard about Oscar wanting to fight Pac at 147, I almost fell out of my seat.

If Floyd were to drop down and fight any of these guys, he should finish any business at 147 that he wants to do first, I don't think it is healthy to yoyo around in weight too much.

No ****ing way he can make 130... he said that after his 2001 bout against Jesus Chavez that he couldn't make the weight anymore.

And I don't know if Floyd can even make 135 anymore.

If he fought Diaz and Pacquiao at 140, I don't think he would get much credit, and it ****ing sucks, because those two have the resumes to be as worthy, or moreso than Williams and Cotto, but I don't know a fair fight can be made between Mayweather and either of them.
