exactly, he changed my opinion of him a lot. he could have easily rubbed it in hattons face for calling him boring and then getting knocked the **** out by him. hes either a nice guy or one hell of an actor.
Wuts your opinion of PBF now

Now how did it change your opinion a lot when you're a Floyd fan? I mean you must of known he wasn't always an *******. -
floyd takes a lot of pride in fighting and for someone to call him boring and a runner for 3 months has to piss him off. and then to knock that guy out in the most exiting fashion possible, it just seems like he didnt have to be that nice. combine that with ricky hattons **** mother saying she hoped ricky seriously hurt floyd, i just didnt think it was nessesary to win that graciously. i dont consider myself to be a bad person but i would have embarrased hatton after that knock out, well maybe i am a bad guy, lol. and i always thought floyd was a bit a ****, but i like him for his skills anyway. and if you are the best in the world at anything i dont think you need to be humble, its great if you are, but i cant see any rational person blaming floyd for being ****y.Comment

I felt a lot more respect for PBF after the fight. He won so empatically that he didn't need to say anything about his skills or performance. He gave Hatton the credit he deserved which was the right thing to do.
Shame he has to be such a **** to sell his fights.Comment

if you had read carefully, i said earlier that his skills are the overiding factor for me being a fan. if i wanted a constantly classy guy and a gracious loser i would be an oscar fan like everybody else.Comment

Easily the best fighter out there today. He has more talent then he has ever had to show imo. But he is a prick and I will cheer for anyone who is fighting him. I would cheer for OJ before I would cheer for Floyd. To me, he is a great example of how to not act for any other person who people look up to. Someone as blessed and gifted as Floyd shouldnt carry himself like a "wangsta" to try and impress fans. Let his skills speak for themselves. But I think he figures that if he ever stops talking ****, he wont be remembered like Ali once he retires.Comment

He's been my favorite fighter for years, but my respect for him grows all the time. I take everything in rather then pointing at the things that maybe he shouldn't do. One thing that never gets touched on enough is how professional he is in the ring. He really don't complain or hold grudges. In the Zab fight I was really surprised to see how he reacted to the low blow and the whole mess. He just stood there minding his own business and even hugged Zab before the last round. Even though they are friendly outside of the ring (or at least were at one time) that's not what you'd expect from a guy who just hit low and on the back of the head on purpose to react.
The same goes for how he treats other fighters after the match is over. He just lets it all go. The fight is over and there is no longer any reason to promote the fight. It's more like if you're not an ******* to him then he's not an ******* to you. That's the way it goes with him. Some don't like it, but at least he's consistent with it.
Nothing I can really say about him boxing ability that hasn't been said over and over. I'm amazed with the guy every time I see him. I've watched his career over and over and to see where he's at now is truly amazing.Comment
