I don't think they were viruses.
If they were, they would have done alot more than just disable the store features and smilies for Tracy.

          congratulations!
The computer nerd of the family said he didnt know if they were viruses or not, and I have AVG Pro too, so there's no telling what it was or where it came from (I'm looking into getting Zone Alarm firewall but I need to know if there is any specific port # to access that site or not)

          • viruses have their own way of bugging a computer. could be mild and could also be worse. some would even hardly show a sign unless detected by an anti-virus.

            • I would be careful of just deleting files like that, i hope you backed them up incase your computers functioning is altered

you could search for those filenames in the internet and see if it realy is a virus. sometimes though we have an anti-virus, it sometimes fail detecting new viruses that is not included in your virus deffinitions. and when you try to disable your firewall, the full potential of the virus may come out.

If she has system restore enabled, I think they are already backed up.
System restore backs up pretty much all files so that's why when you are removing viruses, it's best to disable system restore.
