When did you first watch your favorite fighter?

The first time I saw the Pacman fight was when he fought on the Lennox Lewis undercard against Jorge Elicer Julio. Watched him ever since. Never in a million years would I have guessed back when he fought Julio, that this would be the guy to retire a legend(Barrera), and KO Morales twice(nearly retired). Not to mention give Marquez hell and go on to KO other respectable fighters while staying active. It's pretty amazing actually when you watch a fighter who was just about a nobody/nothing at the time, to go on to arguably #1 P4P on some people's list(not now with Floyd's victory). How about yours?

I have a list of favorite fighters, but I'll just list one. It was in 2006 the Corrales and Castillo match just got canceled, and I was like **** goddamn it, next think you know they showcase a matchup between Chad Dawson and Eric Harding. I was thinking okay this better be good, I thought Eric Harding was going to win because he was the experienced fighter and a known good boxer, but then Chad Dawson was simply amazing. Great handspeed, his right jab was basically a machine gun, and has uppercuts that can rip your head off. This was at a time when was I really searching for the next big fighter in the light-heavyweight division, a lot of other people were hyping up Adrian Diaconu, but I knew he was a fake, and Chad Dawson was the one.

The 1st Alex Arthur fight I saw was the heavy beating he took from Michael Gomez in a British title fight a few years ago. I don't think many of you yanks would have seen this fight...I urge you to try to. It only lasted 5 rounds but every round was brutal. Alex fought the wrong fight that night and got into a war, but I was so impressed with his heart that I thought I'd keep an eye on him. He's unbeaten since and on the brink of a world title shot.

It's hard to pick a favorite fighter, but active fighters - Hopkins. First saw him fight Roy Jones jr. Been a fan ever since.

All time favorite - Sugar Ray Leonard. I was very young, but I remember watching him fight with my pops. Saw him fight Hearns. My father had a bunch of his fights on tape so as I got older I would watch them all the time.
