which means , cotto's win over shane is not impressive at all


and which also means , floyd has no reason to fight him if he doesnt want to ...

kind of a boring fight ... all the pressure wasnt there when i was betting with money and i actually had a chance to sit down and analyze the fight ... this is honestly how i scored it ... the close rounds ... i couldnt pick a winner of the round it was just too damn close ...

A really really hard fight to score all around ... either a draw oran edge to mosley ...crowd played a big difference ..mosley landed some hard body shots and landed pretty good inside and hit cotto with some mean lead right hands....cotto jab and countering was pretty good ... mosley definitely pulls out after throwing a punch that just begs for a counter left hand ...



sorry but floyd would beat both of them ...wide UD ...maybe could even score a knocked out against cotto ... shane would lose a UD ...

I thought Cotto won the fight but I also thought that either Shane looked old or weird. He just stood there so many times and let Cotto counter back with easy shots that anyone could see coming and he did nothing about it all night.

Still though, I told everyone that this fight was overrated. People make it sound like it was a super great fight but it didnt even live up to half the hype if you ask me. It was really boring. Cotto was very good early but didnt do much down the stretch while Shane was only throwing one shot at a time most of the fight and had horrible reflexes

You can search past threads, I honestly thought the fight was whack and directly proceeding, the first thing that ran into my mind was that neither of these guys are on Floyd's level at this point. This was further confirmed on Saturday.

Cotto's body language was brilliant in that fight. He's really a very cool and cunning fighter. He showed that dimension as well. The crowd was definately a factor but Miguel himself did a fantastic job of emphasizing his scores, and downplaying anything Mosley was doing. Match that with the sluggish, buzzed looking expression and jerkiness of Mosley, and it's even better.
