IMO clottey is the most underated fighter currently. I really think he would beat cotto, and he gives mayweather a hell of fight winning 4 rounds.

Where has Diego spent his career?

[QUOTE=Queensdawg;2942800]are u serious man? diego is too big for lightweight.. he had to absolutely kill himself to get down to the limit..

look at the career of Diego Corales .. where did he spend most of it?

Hey im looking at the performance for what it is .. Joshua was putting his combo's together granted .. and 2 knock downs are impressive.

but you have to know that for his career Diego Corales fought mostly as a Super Featherweight .. and Lightweight ... (130 .. 135 pounds)

you know that right? Diego Corales was fighting his debut at 147 .. he was a smaller man, again look where Diego has spent most of his career.

I like Clottey, im just trying to be realistic about his abilities. so its not hate

I just think you over rate his power a bit

he's no doubt talented, I've said that, he would be a very tough fight for any of the Champions at Welter. I dunno if he could beat Cotto but it would certainly be a tough fight

again not to be disrespectful .. but Corales even at 6 feet tall was a smaller Welter

and yes Diego failed to make weight vs Casamayor and forfitted his 135 pound title. fought anyway and lost

very next fight of course was vs Clottey at Welter

I'd like to see Clottey fight like that against an elite, natural 147 pounder ya know?

im not ****ting on his performance (Clottey's) over Diego

but the fact remains that as good a win as it was, Diego was not and never was a natural Welterweight

call it hate, but its a fact.

no way Clottey could do that vs Cotto or even Cintron (I don't think they'd just stand there and absorb punches)

however I hope very much that Clottey can get past Alverez next week

and get that much deserved title bout vs Cotto.

the Margarito bout was really a shame, you mentioned as did everyone else how great Clottey looked those opening rounds .. and he did. I think he won the first 4 rounds

its really a damn shame that his hands failed him. hope he has better luck next time he goes for a belt.
