assuming winky uses his right jab a bunch of times, i can see floyd doing that lightning quick turtle head pop in/out with a right cross.

is there even a name for that counter? where floyd quickly moves his head backwards by an inch or so, then comes back forward with a straight right?

I think Winky can jab his way to a decision. Floyd hasn't shown me a good defense for a solid jab, Winky is a jabbing master.

good point, delahoya's jab and hatton's jab (a few times) landed fine.

does anyone remember if floyd countered hatton's jab? i saw him do it to oscar a few times.

so you think winky has a better jab than dlh and is a better fighter all around?

hmm.. i think winky's jab is only more effective than oscar's (now) is because how often winky uses it compared to oscar.

by the way, isn't oscar left handed (but fights orthodox), and winky right handed (but fights southpaw)?

I'm saying Winky is a southpaw fighter with a very good jab. DLH was very even with Mayweather when he was using his jab. Floyd normally comes over an orthodox jab with his fast overhand right. I think Floyd would want to counter Winky's jab by leaning back and coming back over with left hooks but Winky pulls his arms back real quick when he jabs and goes back into his high guard. He doesn't have to be an all around fighter than DLH. Styles make fights.
