In the UK the Tszyu roughwork was never mentioned. Its true though and the ref should stopped it. But Kosta never complained about it whereas Floyd did and used it as an excuse not to fight in the UK (maybe justified, I don't know).

I'll have to go back and watch this. Round 5 you say?

I will watch later on today...right now, have to go.
Just before Hatton puts him over the ropes Floyd slams a forearm/elbow **** into Hatton's face then Hatton loses it.

You have to stay mentally focused and adapt to anything throughout the fight, which is why Floyd is seperated from most fighters in his era.
Yep, and I acknowledge him as one of the greatest ever and in actual fact a good guy too.

But if you look at it this way, if Hatton didn't get so close to Floyd, which actually smothered his (Ricky's) own punches, which Billy told Hatton he was doing, it would have left more room for Floyd to unload. Ever wonder why Floyd practices short puching, this would be why. Hatton was worried to be countered so he was on him like a wet-white t-shirt, but it also worked against him.
He was fkd past round 6 to be honest, he'd absorbed a lot of heavy punches and elbows from Floyd with the big ones coming following the break ups.

It was a good fight, Floyd is so versatile and has so many strings to his bow. He's a much better outside fighter and a great inside fighter but when both men are fresh and the fight is a allowed to flow, Hatton has the edge as an inside fighter imo.
