The PPV isn't the big deal out of it all.

The thing is, we need boxing on major american channels. Not on ESPN once a week. We need it on major channels like NBC or ABC like the guy above me said.

That's the biggest difference between boxing now, and boxing 10-20 years ago.

You could actually see a guy move up and go through the rankings. Fans warmed up to him now.

Now, all of the good fighters like Berto are hidden on undercards of major bouts. Or on ****ty ESPN cards that no one watches anyway.

    Just my take.

Well, if we would need them on Network television, we'd have to get them off PPVs, right? Then they are a big deal.

We don't need boxing on network television. Hell, MOnday Night Football isn't on network television. This is backwards thinking.

We have let boxers out price each other. No way could a boxing match happen on network or cable TV, when one fighter wants 8 million and the other 5.

Buy the Dam PPV! If you really wanna see it & when King & Arum try to throw BS cards at us like Vargas/Mayorga or Rahman/Maskaev dont buy that ****. When is the last time you saw Chuck Liddell fight for free? But you never hear the UFC fans complain so much.

But paying 55 so that guys like Oscar can put on a less than stellar 12 round performance (first 7 not bad) and still make 40 million dollars, while other, better fighters are making chicken feed, sucks, imo.
I hear what your saying with this post. I think more people would throw down 10 -20 to watch great fights more often than spending 50 watch one fight, because the last few undercards haven't really been that good. Best undercard this year was for Solis vs Pac imo and that was a cheap PPV.
