A middle weight drop down to light middle weight and mayweather move up to light mid again for his next fight?

I can't see mayweather fighting Cotto, Williams, etc at welter.
there just doesn't seem to be a big enough pay day at welter for him any more but maybe if he could fight the winner of pavlik taylor or another middle weight ronald wright?

anybody have thought on this idea?
