not in the UK it is'nt, we dont have a bill of rights, and free speech in the UK does not cover any racial, religious,****phobic slurs, it is against the law, what Hopkins said is classed as Positive racism, it is still against the law but It is very rarely inforced.
so if your a nigg*r,******,phag your laughing if you live in the UK, which is most of them, (only kidding)

Freedom of speech? How about when that white commentator made a comment about this college basketball (women) team full of black athletes and he got fired and was pressed very hard by that famous reverend (forgot his name) and the black community made a huge deal about it, ultimately getting him fired, fined, offended, insulted in national TV all over America. The same thing should be done to Hopkins. That's not a right thing for anybody to say, don't use that "It's freedom of speech". It doesn't make it right by any means. All of you are aware of the double standard and you damn well know it.

              Of course he would.
Racism is wrong whichever way it is used. But when Hopkins says it you all defend him and make excuses but if it were the other way round we wouldn't hear the end of it.

When a white person recieves racist remarks and then says it's wrong we just have to deal with it and let it slide. Well I for one am fed up to the back teeth. In some boroughs in london you can't have black dustbin bags because it is considered offensive to blacks. What a croc of ****, dustbin bags have been black for god knows how long, now we have to change them because some get offended. It don't end there either, this country has gone pc mad.

Dude I don't know what you are talking about, I've lived in Brixton, Hackney, Shoreditch and I've always used black dustbin bags. Where did you get this information? I find it totally unbelievable.

It should be a two way thing, any form should be frown Upon, but many a comic has made a living from it.
People would get along better if they were'nt told what the can and can't say.

I think he would probably have a lawsuit on his hands by now.

well so far I would say he was telling the truth.
