I'm not saying those aren't good fighters, but saying, "I'm pound for pound #4 or #5" doesn't really sound all that amazing to a casual fan. Number one is the only # attachment that matters

Calzaghe should be 3 right now.

thats fine but ultimately a fighters career will be judged by people in the boxing fraternity, people who know something about the sport, not the "casual fan". so number 8 is pretty dam good considering you called hatton a british bum after the fight. but then again what does the ring know compared to your endless wealth of knowledge?

Or 2. Floyd is definitely number one, no question.

actually I put no credence whatsoever on the ring considering they scored DLH-Mayweather 115-114. plus they named Vitali heavyweight champ and ranked Hopkins ahead of Taylor immediately after Taylor beat Hopkins TWICE. The Ring knows nothing now that you bring it up

Just as an aside, who wins out of Pavlik and Hopkins?

i actually agree there. Calzaghe is 5ths thats a disgrace and i was wondering about Rafael Marquez i would put pavlik up there instead of him hell even taylor.

The Ring is not one person it is a team of people. Are you saying that none of them have anything worthwhile to say?
