Hatton needs to stop making excuses. It is pathetic. You got knocked out, THERE ARE NO EXCUSES FOR GETTING KNOCKED OUT!

Hatton wasn't doing anything when he had him cornered but hold without throwing punches that's called wrestling.

        Well excuses are just ridiculous.

Point deduction or not........the fight was close at the time of the knockout I don't care what anyone says. I don't see how people are making these excuses when Hatton was caught with a left hook and floored.......and then finished off right after he rose from the canvas.

Hatton said in multiple interviews that he wasn't allowed to fight his fight because Floyd was basically beating him to it. And wrong again - if they were BOTH fouling, then EVERYONE should have **** to say about it. Floyd isn't saying anything because he fought smarter and used what he was getting away with to his advantage because that "style" of fighting isn't his MO. It IS Ricky Hatton's MO, so naturally the ref is going to be more keen on him. It doesn't mean that he said, "Hatton, don't get on the inside." It means that Hatton felt like the ref broke clinches too early. THATS ALL. It doesn't mean he said that he thinks he really won or that he thinks Floyd fouled his way to victory. Hatton said, "Like a true champ he picked his moments, and he nailed me." Excuses and reasons are not one and the same, go play in traffic.
As for the bold Ricky also complained about the Ref.

I think if Hatton elbowed PBF, PBFs legs might be doing a funny dance though. His whiskers arent that good i bet. And i bet Hatton was scared of PBF because he knew PBF would be allowed to elbow him and not get punished. Hatton knew he was in America. and didnt complain.
It all caught up with Hatton by the tenth..

The same result would of happened no matter who the ref was (which I thought Cortez was terrible) or where the fight happened.

It's not like Cortez pushed Hatton in front of that left hook or held him for Floyd to hit.

I just watched the fight, he was hurt on at least 4 occasions and rocked in a further 2. He's got a great stance tho and rarely looks shaken even if he is, similar to Cotto.
