They are not making excuses. They have a legitimate complaint. I am disappointed in the fight. I am more disappointed in Joe Cortez.

For the record, I am not fan of Ricky Hatton, but I am a firm believe in FAIR fights. This was obviously not a fair fight.

i am not surprised by the more than several full time idiots on here posting about floyds excessive fouling and Cortez' equally excessive permissivnous being unacknowledged or OK. WTF! If Hatton and Cortez had pulled this **** on Floyd this mother****a would be lit up with all of you screaming bloody murder. Anyone who watched that fight (especially watching the 2nd time around) could plainly see that Cortez broke/prevented the action on the inside up all night long while allowing Floyd to crack Hatton with hard deliberate elbows and forearms that took their toll. Hey Hatton got KO'd, Floyd won decisively and impressivley but he did so by using dirty ass tactics and favorable treatment from Joe Cortez. Thats a fact!
