Cortez even warned them both in the dressing room before the fight, that if he sees any intentional, flagrant fouls that there would be NO warning, and an automatic point deduction.

With that said, he still gave Hatton TWO warnings.

He's right, there were blatant fouls there. Hatton is no saint to be sure, but in this fight he was out-cheated.

I didn't like Ricky's attitude after the fight, but hey, he'd just got KO'd TWICE, once by Floyd and once by the turnbuckle. Anyway, I watched the fight again, and he does have a point. Floyd was holding and hitting a lot more than him the first couple rounds. Ricky has 20 in arms, so obviously he can't stay on the outside and jab, and Cortez would break them up every time he came inside. The amount of times Floyd had his elbow in Ricky's throat during the fight was sickening. The ref warned Mayweather at the end of the 5th for the elbows, but didn't say another thing the rest of the fight after Roger gave him the business.

Cortez took a point away from Ricky after Floyd dove threw the ropes and Ricky hit one of the ropes. But then, at the end of the very same round, Floyd hits Ricky twice in a row in the back of the head, nothing.

The ring was huge, and it was hard for Ricky to chase Floyd down for the first part of the fight, and when he did, he wasn't allowed to work.

Floyd fought a hell of a fight, and he was very gracious after the fight. He definitely earned the victory and more respect from me. But the huge ring, the heavyweight gloves and the unfair ref made it unwinnable for Hatton. Floyd probably wins the fight still with all these variables changed, but I would pay to see it all the same.

Before the stoppage i had Hatton ahead on the scorecards and 5 Hatton 4 Mayweather.

Mayweather was using his elbow illegaly way to many times and he was holding a lot in this fight.

did any of you even read the article? There is a mutual respect between both of these men and hatton has said over and over his respect for floyd.
"im not taking anything away from Floyd. He’s a great champion"

I only saw the elbow incident once. Didnt PBF turn his back so Hatton tried to hit him in the back of the head but missed. Is there something wrong with that. When Duran turned away from SRL in 2nd fight didnt SRL attack him for a while.?
