As I have posted many times before about not liking Mayweather as a person, I never once waivered in my understanding how great of a fighter he is. I picked Mayweather in a 12 round decision but was very suprised he KO'ed Hatton the way he did. I think Mayweather is the best fighter of our generation and the best fighter we have seen since Sugar Ray Leonard.
His speed and ability is unmatched and I don't see anyone beating him. I think DLH gave him his best fight and it will take a speedy boxer to give him problems and there is no one out there that fits that description. Cotto would get beat by PBF easily in a decision IMO. Margarito would too and the rest of the welters just are too old or don't have the skill that it will take to beat PBF.
The only thing that will beat PBF is PBF and time. If he decides to fight to long or somehow just doesn't take the fight game seriously, he will lose. I was suprised to hear him say that he won't let that happen in the post fight conference and I hope he does that. He has the opportunity to retire undefeated and I don't see him fighting much longer.
Props to Mayweather, as he has now solidified his postion in the history of Boxing as one of the greatest pound 4 pound fighters ever.
